Daniel Michalek- Associate
Daniel Michalek is a 2011 graduate of Michigan State University College of Law. While in law school, Daniel was selected to become part of the Compliance Office at the University of Michigan Health System, where he actively helped draft and analyze policies that were put in place for the system of approximately 10,000 employees. In this role, he earned an exemplary performance review from the compliance officer of the institution.
Daniel’s practice focuses on the defense of claims against hospitals and healthcare facilities, medical, dental and other healthcare providers, toxic tort defendants, and other personal injury litigants. He is licensed to practice in New York and has successfully tried cases in the New York court system. In consideration of finite client resources, he has also successfully resolved matters via alternative dispute channels, such as arbitration.
He is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County, including a membership on its Healthcare and Negligence Committees; New York State Bar Association, including a membership on its Torts, Insurance & Compensation Law section; Defense Association of New York (DANY); and on the Board of Directors for Saint Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, Alumni Association.
